The EME 5250 Group: FSU OER

AI-Driven Application in Instructional Design Open Educational Resources.

Project Overview

This group project was developed for the EME 5250 Open Learning and Open Educational Resources course at Florida State University. This project was a group project that focused on Generative AI for instructional design of personalized learning solutions. The resources featured were designed as part of the EME 5250 Group for Florida State University's OER.

This AI and OER section was developed to support designers, educators, and FSU ISLT students with ethical techniques for leveraging GenAI to enhance personalized learning curriculum design. The goal is to provide adaptable strategies and resources that optimize learner engagement, accessibility, and efficiency. The resources and materials outlined below will bridge the integration of AI capabilities with instructional design, ensuring practical implementation while promoting responsible and innovative teaching or learning practices.

Content and Design

Target Audience
The primary audiences for this project are K-12 teachers, instructional designers, workforce development professionals, and higher education faculty seeking to optimize AI-driven learning experiences.

  • K–12 Teachers – Resources would focus on practical AI-driven applications for personalized student learning and improved engagement.
  • Instructional Designers – Provide sources and templates for instructional designers looking to incorporate AI tools into curriculum design.
  • Higher Education Faculty – Templates and videos that would allow them to explore AI applications for learner-centered instruction, adaptive learning modules, and assessments.
  • Workforce Development Professionals – Variety of resources for AI-supported training methods specific to skills development and personalized learning paths.
